Low hanging enhanced book bookpedia5/27/2023 These backlinks have a great impact on the trust, but are very easy to obtain depending on the industry. Low hanging fruits in backlink building would be, for example, references from manufacturers to the website of an online shop. In the OffPage area backlinks naturally play a central role. This increases the chance of a conversion on the website. At the same time, e-commerce websites generally benefit more from visitors who have found their way into the shop via a longtail keyword, because these visitors have already specified their search. The lower the competition of a keyword in the SERPs and the longer the keyword combination, the more likely it is to be successful in rankings. If the Keyword Focus on web pages is primarily aimed at longtail keywords, this can also be a low hanging fruit. Adjusting the meta title or meta descriptions belongs to one of the classics in SEO.Įspecially the optimization of ranking relevant titles can have a positive effect on the rankings of certain keywords within a short period of time. The term low-hanging fruit has been used in business and continuous improvement programs from the 1980s to present day, and it refers to activities or projects that have been deemed to deliver a high positive impact with relatively low effort. With little effort, page elements that negatively influence the bounce rate can be optimized. Now Bookpedia has enough information to populate the metadata. The columns will automatically map properly because the script and Bookpedia are awesome like that. Low cost on-page or off-page measures can achieve quick success with aiming for better positions in the search results, or KPIs (key performance indicators) such as traffic, page views and length of stay on a page can be increased. Now its time to import the 'clean' collection. Īpplied to SEO, low-hanging fruits are measures that bring quick results with little effort. ![]() It is important, however, to not just dedicate yourself to the easy targets exclusively, but to organize and plan your activities smartly. What is considered a low-hanging fruit specifically, depends on the defined objectives and the workload involved. ![]() The result is not only better customer satisfaction, but also an increase in revenue. If there are customer reports of specific problems, one can start there and improve the initial situation. For example, a company can start with customer satisfaction, if it is currently not as high as expected. When defining business objectives for a given sector, the low-hanging fruits are the tasks that should be done first. The term "Low hanging fruit" itself comes from the business sector, where it denotes tasks that generate revenue relatively quickly and with little effort.

Reviews affinity photo for mac5/27/2023 ![]() My C drive got full when I was running huge exporting around 4000 images. This is huge work, which means they need to re-write all the base code to improve the performance. There is innovation, but they just don't take advantage of modern CPU and GPU capabilities. I mainly use Photoshop and Lightroom and from computer science point of view, the software is a pile of crap. But people hate this because it just stripe the freedom of choice, however, currently others software does provide one-time license BUT no huge difference. It's all relative so just get the trial and don't wonder what it can To be fair. So far I doubt I'll buy it but I still think AP is a great app! Btw, I like the old tool icons better. It struggles too often and even Adobe CS5 Photoshop does a better job, which I inherited when I bought an old mac. ![]() I'd like a better selection tool and refining process. Is that bad? No, not really but it's just not doing anything better than what I use it for. I ran V1 & V2 side by side performing same edits and saw no difference. I haven't yet found any benefit for my normal workflow. The videos of the new features didn't tell me very much so I got the trial. That said when V2 was announced I was curious exactly what was new and if I really needed it regardless of cost. I don't use many of AP features as it's an occasional tool for composite photos via layers. Software of any kind is only beneficial to those who need it- know how to use it, which in itself is a significant consideration. Unlike Affinity's primary competitor, Adobe, users purchase a lifetime license, and no subscriptions are available. There's also Affinity V2 Universal License, which is $99.99 (regularly $169.99) that includes Affinity Designer 2, Affinity Publisher 2, Affinity Photo 2 and all three iPad apps. Affinity Photo 2 for iPad is $11.99 for a limited time (regularly $19.99). It will cost $79.99 following the launch promotional period. The desktop versions are Affinity Photo 2 and costs $40.99 for a limited time. Within Affinity Photo 2, users can target a specific hue range when creating masksĪffinity Photo 2 is available on macOS, Windows and iPad. jxl offers larger dimensions, more channels, improved image quality and more. The format supports lossy and lossless compression, and it's designed to better handle wide color gamut color spaces with high dynamic range. JPEG XL (.jxl) files are becoming more widely supported. Rounding out the major updates is JPEG XL support. With luminosity masking, users can target specific brightness values within their image If you frequently make changes to different layers or use layers to create 'versions' of the same image, a new saved layer state feature lets you quickly review specific types of layers based on color tag, layer type, name and lock status. For example, you can make precise adjustments to just the shadows, only highlights or any luminosity range in between.įor retouchers, band-pass is a type of mask that is focused around edges in an image, which should be helpful for editors who work on different frequency layers. Alongside the hue range mask, Affinity Photo 2 includes the ability to mask specific luminosity ranges. There's a new hue range mask tool, meaning you can create a mask based on a specific color in your image. Texture artists will enjoy the new ability to adjust lighting information baked into normal maps.Īffinity Photo 2 includes non-destructive raw image editingĪffinity Photo 2 also includes Live Masks, a non-destructive mask that updates automatically based on the properties of the underlying image. For example, you can use the non-destructive warp to make an image look natural on a warped page in a magazine or book. While less photo editing for photographers and more for graphic designers, a new live mesh warp feature lets users distort an image or file to match the surface of an underlying template. Serif writes, 'This means separate masks you have created can be maintained non-destructively while creating new masks based on those component parts.' Speaking of masks, you can combine multiple mask layers non-destructively with add, intersect, subtract and XOR operations.

Fityk raman deconvolution5/27/2023 Owing to the variability of these processes, soot composition is given by a mix of graphitic carbon (or elemental carbon-EC), amorphous carbon, graphenes, and other organic compounds, such as hydrocarbons, aromatics, alkanes, fullerenes, and polyenes (Sadezky et al. Citation2004)-is usually defined as the product of incomplete combustion of organic matter (e.g., vehicular traffic, heating systems, industries, fossil-fueled power plants, incinerators), although it can also be generated by combustion of biomasses or woods and, in domestic ambients, by cooking. Soot-sometimes referred to as “black carbon” (BC) because of its optical properties (Mertes et al. Citation2003), that are responsible of oxidative stress on biological systems (Sørensen et al. Citation2006), and organic compounds (Sakurai et al. Besides, the observed effects on the health are also correlated to the soot properties and composition, in particular to the presence of trace metals (Lee et al. Therefore, due to its high content in the fine fraction and the ability to penetrate deeper in the lungs, soot particles are likely one of the most toxic components of ambient aerosol (Zerbi et al. Citation2005 Englert Citation2005), and similar results are also shown by toxicological studies (Gualtieri et al. Several authors have pointed out that the inhalation of particulate matter (PM) can cause acute and chronic toxicological effects, such as respiratory inflammations or lung disease on exposed people (Brunekreef and Forseberg Citation2005 Davidson et al. Soot is widely regarded as one of the most important air pollutants because of its occurrence in all urban areas and its impact on the environment, climate, and human health. These results add useful information and characterization of the soot, a relevant component of the ambient air, and its different features with respect to the urban or rural–suburban areas.Ĭopyright 2014 American Association for Aerosol Research A similar aspect emerges for the pure black carbon particles, mainly crystalline, and the black carbon particles associated with minerals, generally disordered. The population of soot collected at the urban site, where the vehicular emission component prevails, exhibits mostly crystalline characteristics (with a D1 FWHM of 150–155 cm −1), whereas the population collected at the rural–suburban site, particularly the coarse fraction, shows a prevailing amorphous nature (with a D1 FWHM of ∼175 cm −1). Statistical analysis of the full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) values of the bands, as well as of their intensity ratio, revealed the presence of two classes of soot particles that can be ascribed to a different degree of crystallinity. A careful examination of the spectral bands, performed with a five-(Voigt) curve deconvolution model previously described by the literature and here adapted to the purpose, lead to the characterization of the graphitic and carbonaceous material plus the identification of the mineral particles associated with it. Results of Raman peak deconvolution showed structure ordering evolution with pyrolysis temperature and evidenced the contribution of mineral constituents to the Raman signals.Airborne particulate matter samples were collected in an urban and a rural–suburban monitoring stations of the city of Rome, Italy, and the particles were analyzed through the Raman microspectroscopy. Peak deconvolution was also carried out for Raman data of the samples with/without consideration of mineral constituents (aluminosilicates). Peak deconvolution was conducted for the (002) peak of X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns from the acid-washed samples, which provided information on structural parameters of the carbon stacking structure and the temperature-dependent structure evolution of sewage sludge biochar. The elemental compositions of major inorganics in the sewage sludge were detected by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF, S2-Ranger, Bruker). The images from scanning electron microscope (SEM) were compared between unwashed and acid-washed samples, and revealed the effect of acid washing on the surface morphology and porosity of sewage sludge and the biochar. This dataset is the supplementary data for the summited research article Li et al., 2017 and provides detailed data profiles to support the explication about mineral constituents’ effect on temperature-dependent structural characterization of carbon fractions in sewage sludge-derived biochar.

When did mtv debut5/26/2023 ![]() ![]() A number of early music-only programs were outliers in a world of all- video MTV. Alex Hunter was one of the last original MTV VJs to leave the network in 1987. It has been widely reported that “The Real World” has transformed MTV into a teen mom and Ridiculousness show. Thirty-five years have passed since MTV first broadcast music videos. These include the growing popularity of other genres, the changing tastes of MTV’s target demographic, and the rise of alternative rock radio stations.Īlan Hunter was one of the first VJs to appear on MTV on August 1, 1981. In conclusion, there are a number of factors that may have contributed to MTV’s decision to stop playing rock music in 1997. This made it easier for people to find music that they liked, without having to rely on MTV. These stations played a wider range of music than traditional rock radio stations, including grunge, punk, and indie rock. In the early 1990s, a new type of radio station known as an alternative rock station began to emerge. Finally, the rise of alternative rock radio stations may have also contributed to MTV’s decision to stop playing rock music. This shift meant that MTV was less likely to play rock music, which was seen as catering to a white, middle-class audience. But by the 1990s, the network’s target demographic had shifted to include a wider range of people, including minorities and low-income viewers. In the 1980s, MTV’s target demographic was primarily white, middle-class teenagers. ![]() The changing tastes of MTV’s target demographic may also have played a role in the network’s decision to stop playing rock music. Meanwhile, rock music was becoming less popular, with fewer people buying rock albums and attending rock concerts. Pop music was also becoming more popular, with artists like Britney Spears and NSYNC enjoying massive success. Rap music, in particular, was becoming more mainstream, thanks in part to the success of artists like Tupac and Snoop Dogg. MTV’s decision to stop playing rock music was likely influenced by the growing popularity of other genres in the 1990s. There are a number of factors that may have contributed to this shift, including the growing popularity of other genres, the changing tastes of MTV’s target demographic, and the rise of alternative rock radio stations. But by the 1990s, the network had largely stopped playing rock music videos, instead focusing on genres like rap and pop. Still, the historic recreations that aired on PBS-like 1900 House, Frontier House, Colonial House, and 1940s House-and some of the less popular network series like "Kid Nation" and "Amish in the City," have given some hint that these programs have the potential of combining fiction, documentary, and social experiment in ways that can go way beyond the zoological high-jinx of "Jersey Shore." Given the versatility and innovation of this new genre, we should hope and expect that it will one day deliver a few masterpieces.MTV has been credited with helping to bring rock music into the mainstream in the 1980s. The full potential of the programming style developed by "The Real World" two decades ago, however, has yet to be realized. And while I’d never nominate it for a Peabody Award, "Temptation Island" provided some of the most delicious fun I’ve ever had watching a television show. The cheesy "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" series more accurately show the silly, paranoid, nasty nature of modern American courtship than the most literate of cinematic romantic comedies. The first season of "Survivor," which made stars of and gave voice to a Wisconsin truck driver, a grumpy old former Navy SEAL, and a Machiavellian gay exhibitionist, was a brilliant work of television artistry. |
